My 6 Favorite Ping Pong Table Bars
1. SPIN — New York
-
- Address:
- Flatiron: 48 E. 23rd St., New York, NY 10010
- Midtown: 1626 Broadway, New York, NY 10019
- Address:
- Contact: 212-333-7746
- Price: $29-$59 per 50 minutes
- Website: SPIN
The first bar with ping pong tables that comes to mind is SPIN in New York Midtown, although they have another eight locations around the US, which are equally impressive.
What I like about this bar is the modern decor and friendly vibe. The bar features graffiti-style artwork and LED lights, which really capture your attention.
What’s more, the table tennis tables here are top-notch. SPIN uses the highest-quality tables, Stiga Optimum 30s — one of my favorites. I’m very surprised to see these tables in a bar setting!
To further sweeten the experience, they give you access to unlimited balls and even pick yours up off the floor when they’re out of reach. Talk about service!

2. AceBounce — Chicago
- Address: 230 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60601
- Contact: 773-219-0900
- Price: $10 per 55 minutes per person
- Website: AceBounce
If you find yourself in Chicago, AceBounce is an excellent downtown ping pong bar. The venue is huge, with a maximum capacity of 550 people, so it can get lively!
That being said, the bar does offer more private areas, which you can book. These include the Parlor, the Garage, and the Gallery, each containing 1-3 tables. I should also note that the tables are pretty good quality, just like SPIN. Butterfly, a top brand, makes them.
If you get bored of table tennis, you can also entertain yourself with beer pong and shuffleboard.
3. Sour Mouse — New York
- Address: 110 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002
- Contact: 646-476-7407
- Price: $25 per hour
- Website: Sour Mouse
SPIN isn’t the only bar with ping pong tables in New York, there’s also Sour Mouse too! It’s a trendy underground social club with many games, events, and dancing. They even have a DJ who performs seven days per week!
There is certainly less of a focus on table tennis than at other ping-pong bars, as there are only two tables. They are competition-compliant, however, so you can have a lot of fun playing on them. I just recommend you book ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

4. Pips & Bounce — Portland
- Address: 833 SE Belmont St, Portland, OR 97214
- Contact: 503-928-4664
- Price: $16 per 30 mins per table
- Website: Pips & Bounce
Portland has the perfect place to play ping pong in Pips & Bounce. It may be smaller than the rest so far, catering to up to 225 at any time, but it’s perfect for casual and more serious players.
The venue features nine high-quality Stiga ping-pong tables, over 50 paddles, and unlimited balls. It also picks up all of the loose balls, like many of the other bars with table tennis tables.
Pips & Bounce is open five days a week walk-in, while Mondays and Tuesdays are reserved for private bookings. You’ll also be pleased to know seniors and students get 25% off. It’s a shame I’m not a student anymore!
5. Shamrock — New Orleans
- Address: 4133 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119
- Contact: 504-301-0938
- Price: Free for parties
- Website: Shamrock
The top ping pong place to play in New Orleans is Shamrock. If you live around the area, you have probably heard of it as it’s the biggest bar in the city, measuring 16,000 square feet.
They offer all sorts of games to drinkers, with pool being a particular focus. There are 23 tables to use. As for ping pong, there are just four. However, they are enclosed with a cage perfect for keeping your balls close!
Don’t let their outdated website fool you. Shamrock is an excellent bar with ping pong tables. I recommend checking it out.
6. Game On! — Boston
- Address: 82 Lansdowne St, Boston, MA 02215
- Contact: 617-351-7001
- Price: $25 per hour
- Website: Game On!
If you are in Boston, consider stopping by Game On!, a fun bar with ping-pong tables and competitions. They encourage people to build teams to battle one another. I don’t know about you, but that’s right up my street!
Beyond ping pong, they also offer $4 pizza nights on Mondays. A place with ping-pong tables and cheap pizza? What’s not to love?
Closing Thoughts
So there you have it. Six high-quality bars with ping-pong tables that you should consider visiting. Of the six, I feel SPIN is the best. I love the place’s aesthetic, and the tables are high-quality.
Moreover, with eight locations across the United States, one of their table tennis bars may be near you.
