In my opinion, the hottest pickleball player in 2024 is Christine McGrath. However, many other dazzling women’s pro pickleball players, such as Etta Wright and Jessie Irvine, exist.
But don’t be fooled. These ladies aren’t just attractive; they dominate the pickleball court.
Here are the top 14 hottest female pickleball players in 2024:
- Christine McGrath
- Etta Wright
- Jessie Irvine
- Parris Todd
- Catherine Parenteau
- Anna Bright
- Lea Jansen
- Lucy Kovalova
- Anna Leigh Waters
- Andrea Koop
- Lindsey Newman
- Corinne Carr
- Callie Smith
- Simone Jardim
The 14 Hottest Female Pickleball Players
1. Christine McGrath
Coming in as the top hot female pickleball player I have Christine McGrath. She began the sport in 2015 and has secured many titles since then. Among the most prestigious, she is a three-time US Open champion. In addition, she has claimed gold medals for singles and doubles at the USAPA National Championships.
At present, her sponsor is Franklin Sports. The pair partnered to create her signature paddle.
2. Etta Wright
Etta Wright is a fairly new pickleball player; she turned pro in 2022. Born in New Zealand, she was formerly a tennis player who transitioned to the sport after being introduced to it.
Her doubles dynamic universal pickleball rating is 5.93, and JOOLA sponsors her.
3. Jessie Irvine
Jessie Irvine is another professional pickleball player with a plethora of experience in racket sports. She began her sporting career in tennis, where she rose to become a top-10 junior and then a WTA pro player. Following this, she began playing POP Tennis, where her success continued.
Her pickleball debut came in late 2018, and it took months for her to go pro. Currently, she is ranked #11 for women’s doubles on the PPA Tour (Professional Pickleball Association). Besides competing professionally, she is also a tennis coach in Southern California.
4. Parris Todd
Like most pickleball players, Todd began her career in tennis, topping the rankings in the under 10s and 12s in the USA. From the age of 15, she competed on the PRO ITF Tour, and to date, she has won more than 85 titles.
She transitioned to a women’s pickleball player when COVID hit and was an instant success, beating the likes of Anna Leigh Waters. Currently, she holds more than 43 medals, which is impressive given how briefly she has been in the sport.
In addition, she is also quite busy running her fashion brand, Waisted.
5. Catherine Parenteau
Catherine Parenteau is undeniably one of the top female pickleball players. She started tennis at the age of 4 and did not transition to pickleball until much later, when her coach, Simone Jardim, introduced her to the sport.
In 2024, she was ranked 2nd worldwide for both singles and doubles on the PPA Tour. She also has numerous accomplishments, including three US Open Championships, two National Championships, and 34 PPA title wins.
Parenteau has used her star power to launch her own brand, CP. She also has a signature pickleball paddle and a Vanguard Power Air Invikta variant.
6. Anna Bright
Anna Bright quit her full-time job as an accounts manager at DUPR in 2022 after recognizing she had the skill to compete on the PPA Tour.
Before this, she played for the UC Berkeley women’s varsity tennis team, reaching a respectable ranking of #13 nationally.
7. Lea Jansen
Lea Jansen enjoyed much success competing in tennis. She topped the rankings in the Pacific Northwest every year until she began playing at university. Yet her dominance continued even at this level. After two years, she was awarded Conference Player of the Year and became a first-team All-American.
Tyson McGuffin is mostly responsible for her transition to pickleball. He convinced her to start playing in mid-2019. She later moved to Austin to be closer to other pro players. This was the right move, as she ranked #4 for women’s singles and #9 for women’s doubles on the PPA Tour.
8. Lucy Kovalova
Kovalova became a female pickleball pro in 2016, much earlier than many of the other pros on this list. Born in Slovakia, she moved to the US to compete for Wichita State University.
The extra time in pickleball has helped Kovalova cement herself as one of the top pickleball players in the world. As of 2024, she is ranked #5 for women’s doubles. Currently, she plays with Simone Jardim, but previously, she partnered up with Irina Tereschenko.
9. Anna Leigh Waters
Anna Leigh Waters is the top female pickleball player, and it isn’t even close. She is ranked first in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, and she is over 3,000 ranking points clear in each category.
She became the youngest professional female pickleball player in history at 12. She plays with her mother as her doubles partner—they are the only mother-daughter team. She plays with Ben Johns for mixed doubles events, who is just as dominant on the men’s circuit.
10. Andrea Koop
Koop unexpectedly transitioned to pickleball after reaching out to a tennis friend who was visiting her town. Her friend suggested they play pickleball instead rather than meeting for coffee as intended. The rest, as they say, is history!
Koop balances a life on the court, where she ranks #19 in doubles and #15 in mixed doubles, with a career in civil litigation.
11. Lindsey Newman
Lindsey Newman formerly competed in Division 1 tennis at Seattle University and officiated college basketball before deciding to enter America’s fastest-growing sport.
She secured gold at her debut tournament and even won the Nationals in 2021 when she was six months pregnant!
She is ranked #30 in doubles and #12 in mixed doubles. Her doubles partner is her brother, Riley Newman.
12. Corinne Carr
Carr began practicing pickleball while studying to obtain her Ph.D. in finance. It took just six months for her to start competing.
In addition to pickleball, she is a professor at Campbell University teaching finance. She also enjoys playing tennis and golf.
13. Callie Smith
A former D1 tennis player at the University of Utah, Smith turned pro in pickleball in 2019, but she refuses to leave tennis entirely. To this day, she still coaches other players.
She is ranked #4 for doubles and competes with Catherine Parenteau.
14. Simone Jardim
Simone, born in 1979, is the oldest pickleball player on this list. She has had a long and illustrious career in both tennis and pickleball.
She was Michigan State University’s head coach from 2009 to 2016 when the team produced two of its three best seasons.
In pickleball, Jardim held the rank of #1 for five years from 2016 to 2020. She has also won two triple crowns at the US Open Pickleball Championships. Many consider her to be the best women’s pickleball player of all time.
Rankings obtained from the PPA Tour.
Closing Thoughts
There are many attractive female pickleball players, but Christine McGrath is the hottest. She is also very accomplished, having won the US Open three times.
Etta Wright and Jessie Irvine come in at second and third. The latter is among the best female pickleball players in the world, currently ranking #11 for doubles.
